soldiers dying for lack of equipment...

OK I'd will be the first to say if we go to war then troops are going to die, but if they die because the government has not given the lads the right equipment then sadly who ever is in charge be they minister MP or PM, courts should place these people against a wall and shoot.

We are told to day that we do not have enough helicopters so equipment is being taken to the front line by trucks, lorries.

This cannot be right and if we have no helicopters then buy them borrow them or bloody steal them but get them. One lad that dies because we do not have the right equipment is the biggest shame on any government.

I dont remember hearing about equipment shortages in the Falklands. Anyway, they had longer to prepare for both Afghanistan and Iraq.
It was obvious that IEDs would be a major problem yet they sent the lads out in snatches.

One major failing post Falklands has clearly been the lack of psychological support for veterans, with more vets killing themselves than were killed in the conflict.

I would take some serious convincing that enough help was ever available to those boys and the Conservatives are to blame for that.

Oh and why do you think we left the people sitting on ships, why do you think the Royal Marines marched to the front lines of course we were short of equipment, we are always short of equipment because the military is about people doing the job for the cheapest price.
